Unfortunately, it can be hard to track down all the different types of resources that could make the difference between scaling your company or closing its doors.
Fortunately, for Seattle startups, the City of Seattle maintains a central database for local startup resources, as part of its Startup Seattle program housed within the Office of Economic Development.
Categories of resources include:
- Incubators (e.g., Pioneer Square Labs)
- Startup Events (e.g., TechStars Demo Day)
- Angel & Seed Investing Groups/Funds (e.g., Alliance of Angels)
- Coworking Spaces (e.g., The Riveter)
- Hackathons (e.g., AngelHack)
There are many more categories and lots more resources to be found. So take a look through the database if you’re in need of local resources for your Seattle startup.
